Bed, pillow and sheets was new and very good. Place was clean. Car park ok. For this price ok, if just stay for a sleep.

Upstairs sewer makes noise all the time. You can hear when s**t comes down Breakfast VERY basic.

Brilliant location, friendly staff, large rooms and comfy beds but overall very dingy and outdated.

Location was perfect, beds - thankfully I like extremely firm mattresses, memory foam pillow was great.

Air conditioning didn’t work but luckily could leave windows open, no fridge was a disappointment and although I couldn’t complain about the cleanliness the whole hotel was a little shabbier than I expected, very outdated with badly stained carpets and needing a lot of work. To be truthful if we hadn’t already pre-paid we wouldn’t have checked in.

Wasn't made clear when I arrived that breakfast was included. When I booked online it said not, so I didn't take any breakfast....only to be told when I paid that it had been included. More clarity needed here, please!!

Location, can’t fault it. However the trade off was party goers waking us up all through the night.

Could turn off the heater/radiator. Street noise as on first floor, ear plugs a must.

The staff was very nice and the location was great.

The bathroom was moldy and toilet was so small one had to have the door ope to fit ( and we are just regular size humans)

A decent passing through stay.

The pots of pear compote at breakfast were delicious, and nice to have choice of apple juice rather than just orange. Good hotel for secure car parking on site (cost €13)

No black tea available either in room or at breakfast, and no yoghurt, which I hoped to eat. The floors are uneven with small slopes which were a trip hazard with a stick.

It’s location

I didn’t like the property because in the Booking.com description it says parking available even for trucks. That’s so untrue, their parking area was small catering for perhaps 12 cars and full at the time of our visit. Secondly, whilst the bedding and towels were clean the carpet was obviously not. The smell was awful. Lastly, the local tax according to Booking.com was included, however they charged us again at checkout. This I believe is a scam as it’s the second time it’s happened on our vacation.

Very limited parking!!!

Best thing was leaving the hotel in the morning and moving on elsewhere. The Kyriad at Dijon was much better, excellent in fact.

Hotel advertised itself as having spacious parking. It in fact has very limited parking, nothing at all was available for us. And public parking is very limited in this central area. We had to use a street space that was €29 for 2hrs 15min maximum and then illegally stay in the space for a further 15mins beyond that maximum stay period, until it became free of charge from 7pm onwards! We had deliberately chosen the hotel because it said it had good parking availability. Booking.com must ensure that the hotel parking description is not so wildly exaggerated! We had also booked a double room but were given a twin!!! The room (No 2) did have the potentially nice feature of 2 small juliette type balconies but these were unfortunately spoiled by a) being flooded by an inch or so of water due to their drainage holes being blocked with mud etc and b) having a number of cigarette butts scattered on them! Shower head did not properly attach to the wall. We had to improvise wedging it in place but still no adjustment of height or angle was possible.
